Trapanese Pesto

Our Trapanese Pesto is one of the most beloved and requested products in the Il Sole del Sud line: an artisanal condiment with extraordinary aromatic intensity, capable of conquering the palate from the moment you open the jar. Its recipe is based on a wise balance between fresh tomato puree (30%) and sun-dried tomato (30%), to which almonds (5%) are added for a toasted and enveloping note, fresh basil (3%) for herbaceous freshness and a touch of garlic and chili pepper that ignites every bite with Mediterranean liveliness. With high organoleptic characteristics, this pesto is the ideal condiment for first courses: simply sauté quickly in a pan with pasta — or add it directly raw — to get a gourmet sauce in just minutes.
